   Dear Member,       Your Officers, Business Agents and Chief Stewards have established the following policy in the event of a strike:  

IBEW LOCAL 827 STRIKE/PICKET POLICY

  ·        Picket Assignment Guidelines  -         Assignments will be Sunday through Saturday with coverage from 6:00 AM to       6:00 PM in most circumstances  -    Total assignments will be 8 hours per member per week; shifts to be determined by                 your Unit Picket Committee             -    You may be able to swap picket assignments-all swaps must be approved through                  your Unit Office  ·        $100.00 fine for each missed picket assignment  ·        Fines assessed to strikebreakers in compliance with IBEW Local 827 Permanent Notice      Fraternally,   John MillerPresident/Business Mgr
