Update on Fall Retiree Meetings

If you missed your meeting, see attached for a synopsis of what was talked about.

Retiree Benefit Information

The Union was notified by Verizon that effective February 27, 2015, retirees and former employees will no longer have access to the Verizon HealthZone which is managed through WebMD. Access to this site was a by-product of the Health Assessment implementation, as this tool resides on the WebMD private website for Verizon and was not intended to continue for employees after separation from the Company.  As you know, retirees and former employees are not eligible for the $100 HA credit.  They will continue to have access to the WebMD public domain and Well Connect through the BenefisConnection website. Those that have a a Personal Health Record (PHR) on file will be advised that they have an opportunity until February 27, 2015 to port their PHR to the external web site.  Letters will be emailed this week from WebMD advising retirees and former employees of this change.
