We have grievances scheduled for Thursday, 3-19-2009 at the 2nd step of the grievance procedure. a couple of those cases are for terminations of our Pleasantville Comcast members. we have moved the timesheet reporting issue to arbitration as well as filed an unfair labor practice with the National Labor Relations Board on this issue. we have an arbitration case scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2009 for a benefit case for a Pleasantville member. we continue our mission at the Toms River location to get a fair and reasonable contract for those members. On Tuesday, April 21, 2009, two Pleasantville members will be running for school board in Pleasantville. they are Johnny McClellan & Paul Moore. Local 827, along with the Atlantic/Cape May county labor council will do everything they can to help both Johnny & Paul get elected.
