NEW AETNA CHOICE POS II- MCN MEMBERS

If you need medical attention prior to receiving an identification card, there are a few options for you.

• Beginning January 1, 2011 you may register on the Aetna Navigator website and print a temporary card (

• You may call the Verizon Benefits Center while at the doctor’s office to verify coverage (VBC 877-489-2367)
• You may advise your provider that you are in group #719989 and give them your SS#. Claims can be submitted to Aetna P.O. Box 981106, El Paso TX, 79998-1106.

A permanent ID card should reach you within 30 days of the new plan becoming effective.

If you have not switched into the Aetna MCN (option 20) and would like to do so, there is still time. We are in a correction period and you may still change your plan but only by speaking to a representative at the VBC. I strongly recommend the Aetna Choice POS II- MCN medical plan.
