URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT AND REQUEST

We are excited to announce another major step in our efforts to pass H.R. 1322, the Emergency Retiree Health Benefits Protection Act: 

The full House Education and Labor Committee will be holding a hearing titled "How to Safeguard Retiree Health Benefits" on Thursday, September 25th.  This is our final opportunity this year to protect what you earned!

ProtectSeniors.Org will be arranging for a charter bus to bring New Jersey retirees to Washington, DC, to attend the hearing and show their support for this legislation.  We invite you to join us for this day-trip and show your support to the committee.  It is critical that we have a large number of retirees in person to drive home how important this issue is to the millions of retirees who are in danger of losing the health benefits they earned in their working years.
