Avaya Update 22                                                                                           May 28/29, 2009  
The joint IBEW and CWA Bargaining Committees met until late tonight. Several proposals were passed and agreed upon in principle. Unfortunately the parties were unable to come to agreement on contract language issue regarding health care. The parties will reconvene in the morning in attempt to resolve the remaining issues after consulting our legal teams.

While progress has been made, a major hurdle remains unresolved before any deal can be reached.   IBEW Bargaining Team
