Avaya Update 15                                                                     May 23, 2009          With the contract set to expire in less than six hours there has been very little movement by the company on the issue of active and retiree healthcare.    The Joint Bargaining Committee passed an economic proposal this afternoon. The team has a tentative agreement on Article 25 Termination Payment. There will be no changes to the language and the payments will remain the same.   There is another bargaining session scheduled this evening for 9:00 PM   The IBEW bargaining team will update the website as information comes available.   IBEW Bargaining Team
