Avaya Update  5                                                                                       May 11,2009     The IBEW bargaining team met today with Telecommunications Director Martha Pultar and International Representative Robert Erickson who has been assigned to the bargaining table.     Counter proposals were drafted in response to the company's retrogressive and insulting economic proposal.   A joint IBEW/CWA sub-committee will meet with the company tomorrow morning  to discuss certification.   One of the company's initial economic proposals presented to the Unions is the elimination of the certification program and all bonuses associated with it     The IBEW Bargaining Team
