Wednesday, January 7, 2009  Comcast bargaining resumed.  The company responded to several questions put forth by the Union in regard to our December 29, 2008 Information Request and then proposed three (3) bargaining requests of their own.   Meeting discussions revolved around working conditions and rising health care costs, the Union put forth seven (7) additional bargaining proposals.    Both parties agreed to resume contract negotiations on Thursday, January 8, 2009.   Please continue to review this website for updates or contact your Union Stewards for any questions regarding bargaining.  Do not believe any rumors that are circulating -- all who were in attandance at our Membership meeting and the members of our Bargaining Committee know the issues being discussed.   Continue to work safe, do quality work and remember you are the UNION!       Updates will be made as bargaining continues.  Vice-President Bob Speer
