1 17 09 Bargaining Update Comcast Tom's River 8:34

After meeting throughout the day with the company, we are no farther along.  Many information requests remain unfilled, the company continues to insist on concessions and has told us it will not be ready to meet again until THURSDAY!  There is no indication that Comcast is serious about this bargaining.  Let this employer know that you are not happy.  We demand what we have earned!  The contract still remains in force, report as scheduled, work safely and do a quality Union job.  We have scheduled a Bargaining Unit meeting for Tuesday night, the location to be determined--All should attend!  VP Bob Speer
